Point to Point / Multipoint Systems
A Point-to-Point connection (P2P) refers to a communications connection between two nodes or endpoints. The two units communicate using either Frequency Division Multiplexing or time-division multiplexing to allow for bidirectional traffic flow. For fixed links, this can involve use of high gain directional antennas which enables long distance and high capacity links
Point-to-multipoint communication (P2MP, PTMP or PMP) is communication which is accomplished via a distinct type of one-to-many connection, providing multiple paths from a single location to multiple locations.
If you require a building or office that doesn’t have its own connection to the internet to be connected – or simply wish to save money by having a single connection shared from one building to another or many – PixelPAC can set up wireless point to point and point to multi point systems to connect buildings close by or kilometers away.
We use advanced modelling techniques and drone flights over the line of sight to ensure that objects not seen on top down mapping programs dont interfere with the quality and throughput of the connection.
Point to Point systems
Got a shed, granny flat or office separate to the main house that you want to extend internet to? We can set up a point to point airfibre system that wirelessly connects the building almost indistinguishable from a wired system.
